What does my course fee include?

What is success coaching?

Success Coaching (or more generally, life coaching) is all about moving you forward from where you are now to where you want to be. Coaching is a conversation, or number of conversations with someone who genuinely cares about your success. With Lotus, you have a choice of coaching packages and can book as many sessions as you need. All packages are followed with email support.

We work with individuals who are ready to push their boundaries, to change their self-beliefs and to find their inner confidence. By working together to feel happier about yourself, we can help supercharge your motivation to get your life moving in the direction you want.

Coaching can help you to truly examine your life as you never have before and make your life even BETTER! From now on, your life is literally in your own hands!

Will you support me when I start my business?

Yes, included in your Business Start-Up Programme is 3 months of start-up support during the initial phases of your new venture.

When does start-up mentoring begin?

Business Start-Up mentoring starts when you regsiter your business as a going concern. i.e. Register with inland revenue as a sole proprietor, partnership or limited company.

What if I change my mind?

If you change your mind, you have 7 days from receipt of your materials to return them to us is a state in which they can be resold. You will then be entitled to a refund minus postage and packing.

I’m not sure which direction I’d like to go in, can I just sign up for life coaching?

You certainly can! In fact, if you are unsure about the type of direction you’d like to take your work from home career in we highly recommend that you do. We offer a range of life coaching packages starting with our ‘Get Started’ package designed to help you find confidence and clarity, right through to a package that will help you build and grow your business.

Will my course include any practical training?

We can arrange practical experience via workshops. Please contact us for details.

I don’t want to use my free software course (included with every Business Start-Up Programme). Can I give it to a friend or family member instead?

Yes you can. Any member of your family or friends can use this course.

Can I pay my course fees by instalments?

Yes you can. Details can be found with each course description.

Is there a time limit to finish the course?

You need to complete your course within 12 months of starting, which gives you plenty of time. During this time you have full tutor support and unlimited access to a dedicated student helpline during working hours. Howeverm if you do need longer than 12 months to complete your studies let us know and we’ll do all we can to accommodate you.

I’m not based in the UK. Can I still enrol?

Yes, our courses are available to students worldwide.

Can I study more than one course at a time?

Yes. For example you might want to study the web design course with a business related subject. Varying the subjects you are studying will help to keep you motivated towards your goal by feeling you are getting there quicker.

Do I need any previous qualifications?

No, our courses are open to people from all kinds of backgrounds.

How do I enrol?

How long does it take for my materials to arrive?

Materials will be despatched within 7 days.

How do I submit my coursework?

You will receive materials in paper format, which means you take them wherever you go. You’ll be able to submit coursework by email or post and will also have a telephone contact number for student support.

How is the course assessed?

All ASET courses are assessed through a series of tutor marked assignments which are submitted at your own pace. Some Courses also have a multi-choice style end-test which can be arranged at a convenient time and location.

All ABC courses are assessed through a series of Tutor marked assignments, submitted in your own time.

For ICB courses students need to make their own arrangements with ICB to sit scheduled exams. Students of the NOCN Child Care & Development course can sit Goal examinations at their own expense.

What if I’m stuck?

You’ll be provided with a student helpline during normal office hours. You can also contact your tutor directly by email.

What if I lose my motivation?

Now would be a good time to take a coaching session, or just give us a call for a nudge in the right direction.

Do I get a discount if I enrol on more than one course?

Yes, we do offer bulk discounts, including discounts for friends enrolling together. Call us on 0845 094 5889 or email for further details.

How long will my course take to complete?

Each course contains 100 hours of study, so schedule up to 6 months for completion. You have a year to complete the course.

Of course! You can call us for a chat on 0845 094 5889. The ethos of our company is that women (and of course men) should have the opportunity to spend time with their children. In keeping with our ethos our opening times are from 9.30am - 3pm Monday - Friday. However, as parents ourselves, we realise that evenings can be the best time to talk, so if you’d like to arrange a conversation between 8pm - 9pm you’re more than welcome to contact us to make an appointment.
